PROPOSITION HIGHLIGHT: PROP 40
LBI has endorsed Proposition 40 which would make California’s billionaires pay a one-time, 5% emergency billionaire tax to prevent the collapse of California healthcare due the massive federal funding cuts to healthcare from Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.
Prop 40 is a well structured (by tax and legal experts) one time 5% tax on CA billionaire wealth that will generate $100B to offset the $100B federal tax cut. Read more in depth reasons to vote YES ON 40 and NO ON 41 & 42 here.
